Leah Gabrielle Cárdenas

Hello! Thank you for visiting. I'm Leah (she/her), born and raised in Denver, Colorado. All my life I have had a love for arts of all kinds ranging from singing, to painting, to theater, to film.

I graduated with a BFA in Acting from Nebraska Wesleyan University & have since worked on various productions throughout Omaha & Denver with companies such as The Catamounts, DCPA Off Center, Creative Endeavor, and Shakespeare in the Wild.

My biggest passion, however, is creating immersive & interactive theater; I produced & directed an immersive Christmas Carol with Four Mile Historic Parks in 2021, have been a fellow with Odyssey Works, and directed two pieces for the Denver Fringe Festival, each winning “Most Immersive” in their consecutive years. and most recently, my company, Opia House, won both the Audience Choice and Grand Prize at the Denver Immersive Invitational.

Opia House is the name of the immersive experience company started by myself and my partner, Beau Fisher. I believe experiences are the future for how we view art and I love creating shows that take people on transformative journeys. We currently live in Lakewood, CO with our dog Birdie.
